Age 96, of Joliet, passed away Thursday, February 28th, 2013.
Grace is survived by her loving family, children, Patrick C. Tempel, Lucy V. Feeney, Julie T. Ludwig, siblings, Edward (Delores) Giblin, Mary Ganley, Beverly Jarboe, Vickie (Joe) Goodmann, 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by Greg, Kerri, and Cole Joutras; and Stephanie, Matt, and Sienna Manietti. The family would like to extend a very special Thank –you to Grace's loving caregiver Alexa Garcia. Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Lucy Giblin (Ryan), step-mother, Pearl Giblin (Dye), husband, Clare H. Tempel, siblings, Francis Giblin, James Grove, Myrtle Mullins, Paul Giblin, Vince Giblin and Joe Giblin in infancy, son-in-law, Jack Ludwig and granddaughter Michelle Feeney. Grace was a Sacristan at St. Bernard's Church in Joliet for over 50 years. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Monday, March 4th, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Jude Church, 241 West 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, Joliet Area Community Hospice, Multiple Scleroses Foundation, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
