Helen A. Pelnarsh (nee Bertucci)
76, of Mokena, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 at her home. She was born in Chicago to the late Anthony and Antoinette (nee Consolo) Bertucci. Loving Wife to James R. Pelnarsh of 46 years; Devoted Mother of James (Amy) Pelnarsh, Marie (James) Hickey and Katie Hickey; Cherished Grandmother of Jimmy, Ricky and Amanda Pelnarsh, Jimmy and Claire Hickey, Morgan, Madilynn and Joseph Hickey; Dear Sister of Mary (the late Anthony) Tadin, Theresa (Ron) Ropke, Camille (the late William) Mitchell and five brothers and 3 sisters who preceded her in death. She is also survived by her former son-in-law Richard Hickey. Helen enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and she was especially close to her niece Denise Nemanich and her family. She was a dedicated employee at Marina Cartage, where she enjoyed working for her dear nephew Michael Tadin, for almost 40 years. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451 on Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 3 until 9 pm. Funeral service Friday, November 22, 2013, with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:15am to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Mokena.
