Howard E. Teeter, Sr.

Age 86, of New Lenox formerly of Midlothian passed away on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House in Joliet.

Loving husband of Marlene (Oostman) Teeter; beloved father of Howard (Stacy) Teeter, Jr., James (Susanne) Teeter; dearest brother of the late Gordon (Dorothy) Teeter, late Earl (Alice) Teeter, Keith Teeter, Joyce (late John) Banik, Loyd (Helga) Teeter, Dale (Annetta) Teeter and June (Al) Hellstrom; cherised grandfather of Alison, Joshua, Michael, Natalie, Jessica and Rachel; proud great grandfather of 3 and dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

He was a Car Controller for Illinois Central Railroad for 42 years, a member of Heritage Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea.

Family will receive friends at Heritage Baptist Church21739 S. LaGrange Rd, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral service at Heritage Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00AM. Interment, Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL.
