Irmgard Johanna Knopp

Irmgard Johanna (nee Daunicht) Knopp 90, of New Lenox was born in Stettin Germany to the late Werner and Gertrud Daunicht and quietly passed away at home, February 27, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Horst Knopp; loving mother of the late Petra (Jerry) Schield, Tom (the late Karleen) Knopp, and Olaf (Lynn) Knopp; proud Omi of Tanya, Heidi, Vicki, and Dustin; Great Omi of Autumn, Diamond, Evie, and Ezra. Irmgard loved to be outdoors whether just sitting in the sun or at the campground with her best four-legged friend Toby laying by her feet.  In her later years what she enjoyed most was sitting by the fire sipping her schnapps, and spoiling Toby with his nightly peanut butter treat!  She will be missed by all but will continue to be with us from above.  The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.
