JACK B. WILLIAMS

Age 74, of Lockport passed away Sunday, December 18th, 2011 at Hines Veterans Hospital in Hines.

Jack is survived by his loving family, wife, Esther Williams (nee Lange), mother, Pauline Flynn (nee Short), children, Mitchell (Rachel) Williams, Melinda (Scott) Hill, grandchildren, Kelsey, Matthew, Eric, Kevin Hill, Elizabeth, Asher, Colin Williams, brother-in-law, Cyril Miller and several nieces and nephew.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Williams, step-father, Charles Flynn, sister, Marilyn Miller and son Michael Williams.

Jack was an Army Veteran who served in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of Local #1 Structural Iron Workers as well as a member of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church in Lockport.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, on Tuesday, December 20th, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church, 925 E. 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60411 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church or the Veterans Administration would be appreciated.
