John Patrick Weir, “Jack”, age 82, late of Tinley Park, IL and formerly of the East Side passed away on September 26, 2021. Beloved husband of Joan Mary (nee Tanzillo). Loving father of James (Janet) Weir, Karen (Mark) Bajenski, Robert (Liz) Weir and Cheryl Morinec. Devoted grandfather of Bradley (Maili) Weir, Paige Bajenski, Allison (Lane) Joslin, late Steven Bajenski, Madison (Bobby) Shortle, Harrison Weir, Hunter Weir, Amber Weir, Jake Morinec, Cami Morinec and Danny Morinec. Cherished great-grandfather of Kinsley Bajenski, Everhett Joslin and Chace Weir. Dearest brother of Nancy (Joe) Bufano and late Carol (late Chuck) Henderson. Also survived by many brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Veteran of U. S. navy, Retired employee of R R Donnelly Co. Jack was an avid Bears and White Sox fan and those attending the visitation and services are encouraged to wear team colors. Visitation Wednesday, September 29, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel Frankfort, IL. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
