Age 79 passed away Monday, December 30, 2024. Jackie was born in Blue Island, IL to the late George and Esther (nee Stolarek) Cure. Beloved wife of David K. Heitman; loving mother of the late Susan (Tim) Clark, Jennifer (John) Wielgosz and Dave (Alison) Heitman; cherished grandmother of Gaige Wielgosz, Austin Wielgosz, Aubrey Clark, Jake Wielgosz, Paitlyn Clark, and David Heitman; dear sister of Rita Lusson and the late Gail Caulfield; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many. Jackie retired from the Metra. She, along with her husband, were members of the Civil Air Patrol. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and love her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 9:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
