Jackie, as she was known, worked for School District 126 in Alsip, Illinois, for 33 years as a school secretary. She loved her job and all the wonderful friends she made over the years, even those she went to high school with, staying connected with them all until her passing. She loved to travel till she could not, loved to gamble till she could not, and loved to play card games with anyone and everyone up until the week before her passing. She especially loved playing cards with friends and family, where she accused, especially family, of cheating when she did not win. Family was everything to her and she was enormously proud of everyone.
Jackie was a devout Catholic who would attend mass until she could not physically attend anymore, but she participated in services by other means.
A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Wednesday June 19, 2024, from 3-8 PM.
The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 14327 Highland Avenue, Orland Park, IL.
