James A. "Jim" Seguin
68, of Petersburg, IL, formerly of New Lenox passed away Sunday, March 13, 2016 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL. Jim was born in Chicago to the late Fredrick J. and Dorothy E. (nee Gardner) Seguin. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Podewell); loving father of Matt (Anna Stephens), Katie (Joey) Gomez and Paul (Megan); cherished Po of Joseph James Gomez; dear brother of Berny (Ken) Kremsner, Jan (Jim Muller) Seguin, Debbie (Tim) Neville, the late Bob (Berny), the late Fred "Bud" (Carol), the late Gene (Kay), the late Bill (Carol) and the late Carol (the late Jerry) Smith; uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was a graduate of Harper High School, Chicago. He was a Pipefitter for 50 years, a member of Pipefitters Local 597, and a Cub Scout Master for several years. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 3-9 PM. Funeral service Friday, March 18, 2016 with chapel prayers at 11:00 AM to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave. Mokena, IL 60448 for a 11:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private.
