James E. McNamara,

Age 83, of Mokena for 50 years, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, November 25, 2012. He is survived his loving family; children Patricia (Al) Brown, Ann (Bob) Dilling, and Michael (Debbie) McNamara; grandchildren Maggie and Brian; brother in law John (Arlene) Hannon; sister in law Nathalie Backley; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan McNamara, parents James and Margaret (nee Rielly) McNamara; sister Mary (John)Burke; father and mother in law John and Claire Hannon and brother and sister in laws Richard Backley and Edward and Raymond Hannon and Roberta (Ed) Pajor.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and a retired salesman for Sears.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451. Funeral service on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 in the funeral home chapel at 10:00am. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
