James F. Sunderland Sr.

Age 91, of Munster IN formerly of Frankfort IL and Flossmoor IL, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015.

James is survived by his loving family; children James Jr. (JoAnna), Ford and John (Susan) Sunderland; sister Eileen Wingate, seven grandchildren, James III, Jordan, Luke, Katie, Isabel, Olivia and Maggie and many nieces and nephews.

James was preceded in death by his wife Mary Sunderland; daughter Anne Sunderland parents Henry and Rena (nee Clark) Sunderland; brother Robert Sunderland; sister's Evelyn and Adele and granddaughter Analucia

James was Founder of James and Sons Fine Jewelers in Chicago, Orland Park and Schererville and a life member of the American Numismatic Association.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort, IL 60423, Monday, January 19, 2015 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James F. Sunderland Sr. to Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet.
