James L. Ducett
87, of New Lenox, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at his home. Born in Harvey, IL to the late Ernest G. and Anna (nee Charleston) Ducett. Beloved Husband of Patricia (nee Wright); Loving Father of Debbie Ducett, Mike (Diane), Jim (Karen), Mary (Larry) Kozar, Tom (Kay) and Don (Suzanne); Cherished Grandfather of 14 and Great Grandfather 14; Dear Brother-in-law of Sandy Wright and Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. James was an active member of St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, and a WWII U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Catholic Church would be appreciated. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Thursday, July 4, 2013 from 1-9PM. Funeral service Friday, July 5, 2013 with visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church New Lenox from 9:00AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at10:30AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
