Born in Chicago to the late James and Helen (nee Korpas); Loving husband of Barbara (nee Krzus); Loving father of William (Debra) Petersen and Marissa Gall; Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Nicole; Dear brother of David (Kerry) Gall, Mark Gall and Mary Beth (Michael) Apolzan; Fond brother-in-law of Patricia (Ron) Slusarski and Bud (Susan) Krzus; Dear uncle to many. James was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran. He was a Police Officer in Dolton, IL and Manhattan, IL. and was a member of F.O.P. #6 and the N.R.A. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 3-9PM. Funeral Service Friday, May 31, 2013 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Pending.
