Janet Pawlisz nee: Pavlak, from Orland Park/Mokena, IL passed away at her vacation home in Mercer, WI on Saturday, August 11. Born to Walter and Vivian Pavlak; Beloved wife of 47 years to James; Loving mother of James (Kelli), Robert (Samantha) and Michael (Ron); grandmother of Brooke (Keith), Wade, Ashley (Anthony) and Nicholas; Cherished great grandmother of Keith and Cassidy. Dear sister of the late Lorabelle (late Thomas) Flavin, late Betty (late Harry) Bocian; sister-in-law of late Francis (late Kay) Pawlisz, Rosemary (late Wes) Shinker, Lorraine (Bruce) Trevillian, George (Terry "Yen") Pawlisz; Aunt to many and friend to all. Office Manager for over 15 years for Associated Radiologists of Joliet at Silver Cross Hospital. Janet was an avid quilter for over 30 years and developed many close friendships with her fellow quilters, which eventually inspired the purchase of Top Shelf Quilts in Mokena, IL. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60423 on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM.
