Janice L. Dinolfo ( nee Lackhouse )

Age 63 of Lockport, IL, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her entire family on Monday, January 22, 2024. Jan was born in Chicago, IL, to the late Frank and Juanita (nee Albrecht) Lackhouse. Beloved wife of Salvatore “Sal” J. Dinolfo Sr; loving mother of Salvatore J. Dinolfo Jr, Ernest (Loren) Dinolfo, Jennifer (Peter) Amelio, and Leslie Page; cherished grandmother of Lexi O’Neill, Luke Amelio, Jake Amelio, Ben Page, Olivia Amelio, Amelia Page, Callen Page, Anthony Dinolfo, and Amari Dinolfo; loved sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Jan was employed as an Analyst for Kraft Heinz, a career she loved and dedicated the past 40 years to. Some of her many cherished moments in life were spent making memories with her family, friends, and most of all her grandchildren. Jan’s five cats were no exception - she adored them. Her nurturing ways were also evident through her beautiful vegetable & flower gardens - she had the most amazing green thumb. Jan will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 3pm – 8pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 10:00am. Interment will be private.
