JC McHargue, age 86, a resident of Frankfort formerly of Glenwood and Independence Missouri, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Loving husband of Sonia McHargue (Evans); beloved father of Joni (James) Matese and Michelle Fasel; dearest brother of the late Evelyn (late Curtis) Johnson, late Willalee ( late Wayne) Reagan, late Martha (late Frederick) Eberlein, late Lucille ( late John) Armstrong, late Wilma ( Ray) Cable and late Robert (late Margaret) McHargue; cherished grandfather of Erin (Chris) Smiley, Kyle Fasel, Nicholas (Ashley) Matese and Elizabeth Matese; proud great grandfather of Cora Smiley and Duke Matese. A memorial visitation for JC will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. ALL IN ATTENDENCE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS AND MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCE, NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
