Joan L. Cull (nee Lynch), age 84 of Frankfort, IL passed away on February 8, 2025, at her home. Loving mother of Cindy Matone (Bruce), Stephen Cesarz, Jennifer (Patrick) Ransford, Beth (Kevin) Asmus, daughter in-law Sharon Nelson. Devoted grandmother to Nicholas (Julie), Jason (Bethany), Nathan, Benjamin, Kelsi (Gina), Abigail, Owen, Dylan, Liam, Ryan, Reid, Landon and Aiden. Adoring great-grandmother to Hunter, Eli and Gracie. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Cull, grandson Devin, brothers John Tuomey and Danny Lynch, mother Marjorie Blake and father Francis Murray Lynch, beloved grandparents John (Mary) Blake. Joan “Joanie” was born and raised in Englewood and Garfield Ridge neighborhoods in Chicago, IL. She attended catholic schools and graduated from St. Barbara High school in Bridgeport in 1958. Joanie lived in Chicago, Hickory Hills and eventually settled in Frankfort, IL where she resided until her passing. In her younger years, she was involved in politics and local village government organizations. She worked as a jewelry consultant for Armstrong Jewelers until her retirement. She loved cooking, long bike rides, sunshine on her face and making the best milkshakes for her grandkids. She snuggled every dog she met and never missed a good “get-together”.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Joan on March 17th, 2025 at 11am at St. Anthony Catholic Church 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423. Interment private.
