“CAPTAIN JACK”

Age 77, passed away on Sunday, December 12th, 2021 at Franciscan Health in Dyer IN.

Jack is survived by his loving family, children, Gregory Stevenson, Victoria (Michael) Storako, grandchildren, Thomas Stevenson, Casey Stevenson, Bailey Storako, Lucas Storako, great grandchild, Aiden Stevenson, siblings, Paul (Debbie) Stevenson, Mark Stevenson and Jeff Stevenson.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Margaret Stevenson (Ireland), wife, Jane Stevenson (Elam), brother, Scott Stevenson and grandchildren, Sara Jane Storako and Zachery Michael Storako.

Jack was a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a pilot for American Airlines; known as “Captain Jack” he retired in 2004 after many years of service. He enjoyed boating, rebuilding cars; especially his 57 Chevy. Jack was an avid Chicago Bears fan and well known for his ability to fix anything.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Saturday, December 18th 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood IL.
