John J. Blazekovich

John J. Blazekovich, age 89 of Morris, formerly of Lockport and Joliet, passed away, Wednesday, June 18m 2014. John is survived by his loving family; children Jeffrey (Donna) Blazekovich, Jody (Bill) Doerr and John (Janet) Blazekovich; grandchildren Jeffrey (Miranda) Blazekovich Jr., Craig (Juanita) Blazekovich, Timothy Blazekovich, Aimee Blazekovich, Charles Blazekovich, Timothy Blazekovich, Aimee Blazekovich, Charles Blazekovich, Daniel Blazekovich, Laurel (Nicholas) Meiborg, and Kaysie Sandefur; great grandchildren Haley Blazekovich, Drew Blazekovich, Lily Rose Blazekovich, John Blazekovich, John Blazekovich, Dylan Meiborg and Penelope Meiborg; brother Robert Blazekovich and a sister Gloria Blazekovich. John was preceded in death by his wife Jean Blazekovich; grandson Christopher Blazekovich, brothers Joseph Blazekovich, Anton Blazekovich and Michael Blazekovich; sisters Rose Klen and Helen Chester, parents Matthew and Christina Blazekovich. John was a founding teacher and mentor for the Morris Watercolor Society. Family will recieve friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St. Lockport IL 60441 on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 3:00 until 6:00pm. Funeral service on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at St. Mary Nativity Cemetery in Crest HIll. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
