76, of Frankfort formerly of Chicago's Hegewisch area, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017. Loving father of Tim (Lori) Novak, Kim (Don) Bonnstetter, Keith (Phunnaporn "Natalie") Novak and Michele (Tom) Lyons; dearest brother of Marianne (Horst) Thompson; cherished grandfather of Natalie, Meredith, Elizabeth, Kathryn, John and Jessica; former husband and forever friend of Sylvia Novak; fond uncle of 1 niece and 2 nephews. He was a 49 year member of Carpenters Local #1 and a member of Chicago Federation of Musicians. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 8:00AM until time of Memorial Mass at 10:00AM. Inurnment will be Private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to American Cancer Society or American Lung Association would be appreciated.
