JOHN R. TENNEY

Age 94, of Lockport, formerly of Chicago passed away Saturday, July 1st , 2011 at the Manteno Veterans Home in Manteno.

John is survived by his loving family, children, Claudia (Richard) Kasper, Kim (Mario Santos) Tenney, John J. Tenney, sister, Betty Bickel and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Peter J. & Bessie Tenney (nee Riley), wife, Sophia Tenney (nee Kosek), siblings, Peter Tenney and Patricia Baum.

John was a United States Army Veteran who served his country during WWII. He was also a former member of St. Thomas Moore Church in Chicago.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, on Wednesday, July 6th, 2011 from 3 to 8 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, July 7th, 2011 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Dennis Church, 1214 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
