Joseph A. Krygowski Jr.

Age 77, of New Lenox formerly of Oak Forest born in Hammond IN., passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013 .

Joseph is survived by his loving wife Marlene (nee Steinmetz) Krygowski; daughter June (Bob) Thomas, sons Jeffrey (Pam) Kalivoda and Matt (Rene) Kalivoda; siblings Mary Sheridan and Robert (Josie) Krygowski; grandchildren Shannon and Michael Thomas, Amanda, Jennifer, Kevin and Jason Kalivoda, Allana Bailey and Joseph and Dana Wail, and many nieces and nephews.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Jean (nee Lyskawa) Krygowski Sr.; sons John and Kurt Kalivoda; brothers Richard and Edwin Krygowski.

Joseph was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of A's R Us Model A club of South Chicago land and He was also a member of the Com Ed golf group, and partial to his very special fishing and hunting group of more than 40 years.".

Family will receive friends, Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2 to8 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox IL 60451. Funeral mass, Monday, July 1, 2013 at 11:30 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church New Lenox. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Juvenile Diabetes or Bridge Teen Center in Orland Park would be appreciated.
