Age 87, a resident of Joliet, IL passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018. Beloved husband of Helen Masura (Bazik); loving father of Joseph Masura Jr., Ronald (Toni) Masura, and Laurie (Jeff) Courtright; cherished grandfather of Taren (Alex) Rowley, Taylor Masura, Gannon Courtright, and Brecken Courtright; and great-grandfather of Jack Rowley; dear brother of Anna Mae (late Tom) Kelly. He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Anna Masura (Kapitan), and brother Laddy (late Margie) Masura. Joseph was a United States Army Veteran, 7th Infantry Division. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1977, VFW Post 9545, East Sideclub, and Irving Club. Joseph was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral service at 10:30 AM.
