77, of Saugatuck, MI passed away Monday, June 18, 2018, at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Joseph was born in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Marie (nee Malolepszy) Sajdak. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Abramovske); loving father of Barbara (Terry) Morrow, Michael (Rochelle) Sajdak, and Patricia (Terrance) Vaisvilas; cherished Grandfather (Papa) of Ashley (Jason) Salerno, Kara Sajdak, Kate Sajdak, Christopher Sajdak, and Ryan Hoban; proud soon to be great grandfather; brother of Karen (Edward) Hoffman, and Gary (Antoinette) Sajdak; he was also survived by loving family pets. Joseph was a retired tax and insurance specialist for Ryerson Steel and former owner of the Rosemont Inn Bed and Breakfast in Saugatuck, MI. Joseph was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Joseph’s name be made to the University of Chicago Cancer Research Foundation or P.A.W.S. The Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Sunday, June 24, 2018, from 2 – 7pm. Funeral Service Monday, June 25, 2018, with prayers at the funeral home at 11:30am, then to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass at 12:00pm. Interment and Christian burial with full military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
