JOSEPH M. OGORZALEK
Age 90, of Frankfort, passed away peacefully with the support of his family Friday, February 23rd, 2024.
Joseph is survived by his loving family, children, Janet (Jack) Scanlon, Deborah (Joe) Kadich, Thomas (Dottie) Ogorzalek, Sharon (Don) Niven, James (Kristina) Ogorzalek, Eileen (Pat) Esposito, Sandra (Pat) Quinn, grandchildren, Scott Geiss, Gregory Geiss Jr, Daniel Geiss, Timothy Kadich, Jospeh Kadich, Nina Kadich, Christine Neander, Richie Maxwell, Caitlyn Maxwell, Jennifer Maxwell, Josh Maxwell, Shannon Regan, Mary Katherine Ogorzalek, Sarah Sotiros, Nicole Esposito, Jimmy Quinn, Jack Quinn, great grandchildren, Isabella, Luca, Seth, Shane, Claire, Oliver, Drew and Olivia.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Michael & Catherine Ogorzalek, wife Geraldine Ogorzalek (Kieydyk) and brother Chester Avers.
Joseph was a United States Navy Veteran, member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort and retired from Jewel Food Stores as a meat cutter after 40 years of service.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Wednesday, February 28th, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, February 29th, 2024 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
