86, of Richton Park, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at her home. Josephine was born in Yorkville, OH to the late Sam and Angelina (nee Dolcimascola) Nicosia. Beloved wife of the late Wilburn "Lee" Smith; loving mother of the late Diane Forsyth, Janet Smith, Debbie Jobbe, Bob (Michelle) Smith, the late Mike Smith, Joyce (John) Shamburger, Brenda (John) Havens; cherished grandmother of Alesha Smith, Terry (fiancée Jordan Feld) Jobbe, Erin Nelson, Adam Jobbe, Robert Smith, Nicole Smith, Angela Jobbe, Michael (Kacey) Smith, Kenny (Samantha) Smith, Deven Bell, Jonathon Havens, Rachel Forsyth, and Alana Havens; proud great grandmother of seven; dear sister of the late Phylis Duncan, Lea Conklin, Joe Nicosia, the late Paul Nicosia, Mary Selinger, Tom Nicosia, Augie Nicosia, and Angie Gambrell; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand dogs. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 3pm – 9pm.
