Judith M. Burdelik

Judith M. Burdelik, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Judith is survived by her loving husband of 60 years John Burdelik; children, Kathy Stakenas, John (Francine) Burdelik, Dave (Angela) Burdelik, Jim (Lynda) Burdelik, Jody (Tanya) Burdelik; grandchildren, Derek (Ashley), Melanie (Rob), Sara (Cody), Josh, Jason, Samantha, Matthew, Madelyn, Paige, Cole; great grandchildren, Halen, Amelia, Anastasia; and her loving dogs Spike, Oreo, and Padfoot.

She is preceded in death by parents Edward and Bernice Jablonski; and son-in-law Michael Stakenas.

During Judith’s time on earth, she enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, and gardening. More than anything though she will be remembered for being a loving mother and wonderful grandmother who always put others first.

Services for Judith will begin with a visitation on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road in New Lenox, IL from 1-6pm. The services will continue the following day with a brief visitation beginning at 9:30am until the time of chapel prayers at 10:30am. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am at Saint Jude’s Catholic Church in New Lenox on Monday. Judith will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice, IL.
