Julie A. Dionne

Julie A. Dionne (Angelo), longtime resident of Crete, formerly of Watseka, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the age of 95.
Julie was a longtime parishioner of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Park Forest, and member of Xi Gamma chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was an avid gardener, brilliant cook, and a lover of the vino. She enjoyed listening to Dean Martin and polka music. She cherished family vacations at Lake Shafer for many years. The most important thing to Julie was her family, and she prayed for their well-being daily. 

She was the loving mother of Craig (Susan) Lenburg, Dino (Tracy) Lenburg, Debbie (John) Skipper; dear sister of Betty (late Marty, late Armand) Shahbaz; cherished grandmother of Tammy Riley, Tara (Andy) Doggett, Jennifer Rosario, Nora Lenburg, Taylor and Kaitlyn Lenburg; great-grandmother of Amanda Cecil, Fred Riley, Nicholas Rosario, and Ben Doggett; and great-great grandmother of Jacob and Sierra Cecil. She was preceded in death by her first husband Allen Lenburg, second husband Duane Dionne, eldest son Jack Lenburg, siblings Fortunato “Joe” and Cecilia Angelo, and her great-grandson Jakey Riley.
The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 3:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. Interment private.
