Karen Mary Johnston (nee Rennhak)
78, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 4, 2019 at her home. Karen was born in Chicago to the late Walter and Loretta (nee Maher) Renhak. She was also preceded in death by her step-father John Ringhoffer. Beloved wife of John E. Johnston; loving mother of Laura Johnston, Raymond (Wendy) Johnston, and Patrick Johnston; cherished grandmother of Brooklyn Johnston, Faith Johnston, Jack Johnston, Angelina Palermo, and John Palermo. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Karen’s name to ASPCA would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Monday, January 7, 2019 from 3:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:00pm. Interment will be private.
