Age 69, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, May 11th, 2019 at her home in Frankfort.

Karen is survived by her loving family, husband, Paul Stec, children, Nicolle (Paul) Marinec, Paul Justin (Dara Jenthanomma) Stec, grandchildren, Sebastian Marinec, Magdalena Marinec, Cameron Stec, siblings, Cheryl (Anthony) and Patricia Archer.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Al & Julie Manis and brother Alan Manis.

Karen was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Prestwick Country Club both of Frankfort. She was also a longtime employee of Macy’s Department Store in Orland Park.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15th, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Funeral service, Thursday, May 16th, 2019 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
