Karin L. Bartels

Karin L. Bartels, age 68 of Hamilton, Ohio formerly of Tinley Park and Lockport, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016. Loving mother of David (Melissa) Bartels, Kristin (Lowell Staggs) Bartels and Jonathan (Sara) Bartels; beloved sister of MaryAnn (Rev. Paul) Bengtson; dearest grandmother of Luke, Grace, Andrew, Adam, Logan and Benjamin; cherished aunt of Amy Bengtson and Hildy (Steve) Clewell; dear great aunt of Nicole and Heather. She was preceded in death by her parents Irving and Lorraine Becker and mother Helen Marie Becker and a nephew Peter Bengtson. She was a past member of Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church and a graduate of Lockport Twp. High School. A memorial Visitation will be held at Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church 925 E. 9th St. Lockport IL 60441 on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10:00AM until time of Memorial Service at 12:00 Noon. Inurnment to follow at Lockport City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Shepherd of the Hill Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
