Age 66, a resident of Dowagiac, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Thomas K. Trenda; loving mother of Pamela (Brian) Bettenhausen, Julie (Kevin) Mensching, and Thomas Trenda; cherished grandmother of Jacob, Allie, Robert, Joshua and Maximus; dear sister of Frank Boyle, June Boyle, Joyce Hamer, Pat Boyle, Edward Boyle, and Arlene Coleman; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter J. and Marie C. Boyle (Grimley). The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 5-8 PM. Funeral service, Friday, April 6, 2018 with chapel prayers at 9:15 AM to St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave., Mokena, IL 60448 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. Kathy immensely loved her family. Her outgoing and vibrant personality will be deeply missed, and never forgotten.
