Age 75, a resident of Lockport, formerly of Morris, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 10, 2018. Beloved husband of Vivian Kirk (Long); loving father of Jodi Kirk, Kevin (Karyn) Kirk, and the late Kerry Kirk; cherished grandfather of Kelsie and Kendal Kirk; dear brother of Donna (late Max) Babcock and Candy Johnson; fond friend of Geri and Gene Williams. Ken retired from General Motors in LaGrange after 38 years of dedicated service. He was an avid sports fan, a member of the Chicago Gray Sox Senior Softball, traveling around the country playing softball. Ken loved attending his children and grandchildren’s sporting events, and enjoyed bowling. The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org or the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org would be appreciated.
