Kevin L. Karas

Kevin L. Karas, age 57, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 20th, 2021 at his home in New Lenox.
Kevin is survived by his beloved son, Samuel Karas; brothers, Mark (Angela) Karas and Jeffrey Karas; his nieces, Valerie (Chance) Akin, Sara Karas, and Bianca Karas; and nephews Ryan (Monica) Karas and Nathan Karas.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leopold and Donna (nee Luthkauskas) Karas.
Kevin will be remembered for his love of NASCAR and the Chicago Blackhawks, but before all else he will be remembered his love for his son Samuel. He loved to visit Sam any chance that he could and just spending time with him meant the world to Kevin.
Services for Kevin will begin on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 with a memorial visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road with a visitation from 4pm until the time of service at 7:30pm. Kevin will be laid to rest with his parents at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Forest Park, IL the following day, January 5th, at 11am.
