73, of Mokena, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox. Lawrence was born in Chicago to the late Frank and Evelyn (nee Doyle) Cooke. Beloved husband of Karen (nee Young) Cooke; loving father of Lawrence (Terri) Cooke, Sheri (fiance Ron Sass) DeLuca, Garry (Kristen) Cooke, and Jerry (Stephanie) Cooke; cherished grandfather of Rachel (Matt) Spata, Shannon Cooke, Ashley, Katie and Carley DeLuca, Conor Cooke, Landon Turner, Addison, Mabry, and Vivienne Cooke; great grandfather of Kopen, Kasen, Braelyn, and Brynn; dear brother of the late Frank Cooke, Diann (late Joseph) Moustis, the late John Cooke, Joe (Kathy) Cooke, and Evelyn (David) Bass; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Lawrence retired from ITW after 44 years of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lawrence's name to a Cancer Center of the donor's choice, would be be appreciated. A private family visitation and service were held followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery in New Lenox.
