LEONARD E. CHAPP

Age 92, of Lockport, passed away Friday, December 7th, 2018 at his home in Lockport.

Leonard is survived by his loving family,wife, Iris Chapp (Israelson), daughters, Susan Cook, Kathleen (Patrick) Schwar, Debra (fiancée Bill West) Chapp, grandchildren, Laura (Benny) David, Lisa (Barry) Epperson, great grandchildren, Landon Epperson, Paige David, Aldon Epperson, Deanna David and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Michael & Victoria Chapp (Makauskas), son-in-law, Chester Cook, siblings, Helene Hightower, Peter DuChance, Joseph DuChance, Sophie Raspolich and Stanley Chapp.

Leonard was WWII Army Veteran and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockport. He retired from United States Steel Joliet Works and was an avid bowler and golfer.

Leonard’s family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to all of his caregivers for their loving care and support.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, December 11th, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 and again on Wednesday, December 12th, 2018 from 10:00 AM until time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
