Age 65, of New Lenox, IL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Leonard was born in Harvey, IL to the late Leonard Sr. and Rosemarie (nee Candeloro) Hawrysio.

Beloved husband of Jill (nee Sendera) Hawrysio; loving father of Kayleigh (Francisco) Villasenor, Bethaney (Steven Kelly) Hawrysio, and Logan Hawrysio; dear brother of Shelli (Keith) Howlett; favorite grand paw of his grand dogs Pirate and Wally; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

After Leonard retired from AT&T. He enjoyed playing video slot machines and spending time with family and friends. Leonard loved the holidays especially Christmas. He was also an avid gardener specifically he loved his flowers. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 1:00 PM until time of Funeral Service at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private.
