LEONARD P. MIARECKI

Age 70, of Mokena, passed away Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Leonard is survived by his loving family, wife, Nancy Miarecki (Hoessler), children, Ryan (Rachael) Miarecki, Stephanie (Brandon) Caruso, Lauren (Ryan) Fisher, Carrie Miarecki, siblings, Bonnie (Juergen) Jackert, John Miarecki, brother in-law, Bob Huisman, grandchildren, Noah Caruso, Charlie Caruso, Jemma Caruso, Henry Miarecki and many nieces and nephews.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Betty Miarecki (Broomfield), silbings, Paula Huisman, Karen Miarecki, Jackie Fry, nephews Brad Fry and Steve Anderson.

Leonard was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He was a lifelong Christian who was truly devoted to this family and had a passion for cooking, woodworking and spoiling his grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, September 19th, 2021 from 2:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. A second visitation will be held on Monday, September 20th, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the funeral home and then proceed to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL for interment with full military honors.
