LEONARDUS H. HEYNE

Age 86 of Shorewood, formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, May 14th 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Leonardus is survived by his loving family, wife, Anne Heyne (Putman), children, Rosemarie Scannell, Yvonne Meurer, Caroline (Bruno) Bernecker, Thomas (Mary) Heyne, Leonard (Robin) Heyne, Edward (Rebecca) Heyne, brother, Reinier (Theresa) Heyne, grandchildren, John, Tinamarie, Scott, Mark, Alisa, Rachel, Michelle, Anna, Matthew, Elizabeth, Christa, Cassandra, Carrieann and numerous nieces and nephews.

Leonardus was preceded in death by his parents, Hendrikus & Justine Heyne and four siblings.

Leonardus was a United States Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the International Community Church in Frankfort.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, May 17th, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 and again on Monday, May 18th, 60423 from 9:00 AM until time of funeral service at 10:00 AM at the International Community Church, 200 S. Elsner Road, Frankfort, IL 60423. Interment, Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421at 9:30 AM. Please arrive to the cemetery by 9:15 AM.
