Age 81 of New Lenox passed away Monday, September 11, 2023, at Lightways Hospice, Joliet IL. Linda was born in Chicago, IL to the late Norman and Gladys (nee Yarnell) Wintermantel. Dear sister of the late Jan (Gerald) Dolan and the late Karen Peterson; beloved aunt of Lisa (Marty) Rogers, Jerry Dolan, Anita (Brian Mitchell) Bellone, and Curt (Beth) Bellone; cherished great-aunt of Ashley (Matt) Sander, Patrick (Diana Souza) Rogers, Maddie (Matt) Hoffmeister, Kendall (fiancé John Cihocki) Bellone, Austin Bellone, Emerson Mitchell, and Tessa Mitchell; proud great-great aunt of Blake, Weston, and Magnolia Sander. Linda was a Cytologist at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL for over 35 years. Linda was an avid animal lover, especially dogs and horses. Her beloved dog Bandit will miss her. Linda enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she enjoyed watching sports, especially the sports her nieces and nephews played. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:30am. Interment will be private at Beverly Cemetery, Blue Island, IL.
