LOUELLA M. LANDON

Age 96, of Lockport, passed away Monday, August 29th, 2011, at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet.
Louella is survived by her loving family, daughters, Betty (Ralph) Waldhauser of Pawnee, IL, Gayle (John) Glover of Lockport, brother, Carlton Baumgartner of Lockport, grandchildren, Mark Waldhauser of St. Charels, MO, Glenn Chirko of Tonopah, AZ, Beth (Scott) Rivera of St. Louis, MO, Jann Waldhauser of Savoy, IL, great grandchild, Landon Waldhauser and numerous nieces and nephews.
Louella was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton & Ada Baumgartner (Byrne), husband Francis Landon and brothers, John Baumgartner, C. Harold Baumgartner and William Baumgartner.
Louella was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockport. She was active in the choir for 75 years and also served as the church historian. Louella enjoyed playing Bridge and was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan.
Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, on Thursday, September 1st, 2011 from 4 to 7 PM. Funeral service, Friday, September 2nd, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Lockport City Cemetery, Lockport.
