Lynne Marie Arends (nee Ronspies)

Age 58, of New Lenox, IL, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025. Lynne was born in Blue Island, IL to Robert and the late Barbara (nee Wortel) Ronspies.

Beloved wife of Albert Arends; loving mother of Meghan (Amy) Duffy, Shae (Miles) Cruz, and Connor (fiancée Anna Sarsfield) Duffy; cherished Nana of Joshua, Callie, and Gino Cruz, and Riley Duffy; dear sister of Robert (Jennifer) Ronspies and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Ronspies; loved aunt of Bobby, Frank, Sam, and Sarah Ronspies.

Lynne was the concierge at Clarendale of Mokena where she adored each and every resident. Some may remember her as “Lynneterest” due to her love and creativity for arts and crafts. She had a decoration for every single holiday but Halloween was her favorite & was a costume extraordinaire. She loved Haunted Houses, True Crime, sunbathing with iced tea, shopping, showing off pictures of her grandkids, cooking but most of all- hanging out with her many friends.

Lynne will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10:00am until time of Memorial Service at 12:00pm.
