Age 94, of Frankfort passed away Sunday, May 12^th, 2024 at Lemont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lemont.                          

Marcella is survived by her loving family, children, Lyle Edward (Sylvia) Tewes, Kurt Ramon (Jeanne) Tewes, Nancy Tewes (Matthew) Srednicki, sister in-law, Shelby Wieland, grandchildren, Annie, Brad, Daniel, Andrea, Lori, Amy, Yvonne, Jennifer and 11 great grandchildren.   

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, Fred & Leona Wieland (Harnack), husband, Edward Tewes, siblings, John Wieland, Fred Wieland and Kenneth Wieland.    

Marcella was a very devoted and active lifelong member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ in Frankfort.   She was an avid gardener, baker, Chicago White Sox fan and dedicated farm wife.   

Family will receive friends at St. Peter’s United Church of Christ, 12 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, May 16^th, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM.  Interment, Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort IL.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Peter’s United Church of Christ or the Will County Farm Bureau Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
