Marcella V. Delnegro (nee Loeb), 92, formerly of Tinley Park and Flossmoor, passed away on May 23, 2019 at Beecher Manor.
Marcella is survived by her loving family: children: Dennis (Pam) Delnegro, Janice (Greg) Fryklund, Michael (Joanne) Delnegro, Nancy (Tom) Winder, Annette (Don) Skafgaard, James (Theresa Rooney) Delnegro, grandchildren, Jonathan Delnegro, David Delnegro, Robert Delnegro, Jennifer Delnegro, Katie (Matt) Ostrowski, Sarah (Josh) Forsythe, Tommy Winder, Amy Winder, Stephanie Skafgaard, Kyle Delnegro, Matthew Rooney, Patrick Rooney, great grandchildren, Mason Lee, Landen Ostrowski, Joshua Forsythe, Jacob Forsythe and Luke Forsythe; brother: Kenneth (Diane) Loeb.
Marcella was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Mario J. Delnegro, on April 27, 2019. She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Sarah (nee Repole) Loeb and siblings: Laverne Loeb, Marie Loeb Farell, Raymond Loeb, Roy Loeb, Michael Loeb, John Loeb, Ernest Loeb, and Thomas Loeb.
Marcella was a devoted wife and mother and a longtime member of St. George Catholic Church in Tinley Park.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28th, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29th, from 8:15 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:15 a.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel going to St. George Catholic Church, 6707 175th Street, Tinley Park IL 60477, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m.
A Committal Service will be held for both Mario and Marcella Delnegro at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery on Friday, May 31st. Please meet at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in Frankfort at 9:15 a.m. as we will be going in procession. A Committal Service and Military Honors will take place at 10:30 a.m. Private in ground inurnment will take place. Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road Elwood, IL 60421.
