Age 101, of Batavia, formerly of Lockport, passed away Sunday, March 31st, 2013 in Batavia.

Margaret is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, J. Putnam Milne, step-daughters, Ruth Herman, Margaret Cann, siblings, Dorthy Nystrom, Valdemar Carlson, Vernnon Carlson, Richard Carlson, Donald Carlson, two step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.

Margaret was a longtime member of the previous Community Covenant Church and current member of Hope Covenant Church in Orland Park.

A memorial service will be held at the Holmstad Retirement Community, Michealsen Chapel, 831 North Batavia Avenue, Batavia, IL 60510 on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
