Margaret “Peggy” Rajca

Age 81, of Tinley Park formerly of South Holland passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 at Lightways Hospice in Joliet, IL.  Peggy was born in Chicago, IL to the late James P. and Evelyn M. (nee Dineen) Burke.  Beloved wife of the late Robert S. Rajca; loving mother of Carrie (Robert) Silverman, Bill (Leslie) Rajca, and Ronda (Jerry) Seybert who Peggy loved and treated as her own daughter; cherished grandmother of Nate and Shane Silverman; beloved significant other of Marlin Burdette; dear sister of the late Marcie (late Dale) Nehring, the late Jim Burke, and the late Ed (Susan) Burke; “special Aunt Peggy” to numerous nieces and nephews; loved cousin and friend.  Peggy enjoyed making ceramic pieces for family and friends.   She also enjoyed playing cards, shopping, and socializing.  Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL on Friday March 15, 2024 from 3pm – 8pm.  Funeral service Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 10:30am in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery Frankfort, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Peggy’s name to Parkinson’s Foundation, American Lung Association, American Heart Association, or Lightways Hospice would be appreciated.
