Margo E. Boomsma (nee Olson)

Age 84, of New Lenox, previously of South Holland, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Margo was born in Harvey, IL to the late Evert and Ruth (nee Schuler) Olson. Beloved wife of the late Cornelius N. “Neal” Boomsma; loving mother of Diana (Steve) Avery, Nicholas (Julie) Boomsma, and the late Laura Boomsma; cherished grandmother of Elyse Jansma, Gavin Boomsma, and Garret Boomsma; dear sister of the late Annette Olson. Margo was the owner of Fine Arts Services, where she sold oil paintings, and then worked for Joyce Sportswear, Chicago, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margo’s name to your local Animal Welfare Society or Shelter would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL, on Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 11:00am until the time of Memorial Service at 12:00pm.
