Marian C. Clark

December 20, 1927 — June 25, 2022

Marian C. Clark (nee Cannon), age 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2022, with her family by her side.
She is survived by her loving children, Sheila (Michael) Haggerty, Patrick Clark, Janet (Robert) Burns, Thomas Clark, Michael Clark, Maureen Clark, Anthony (Beverly) Clark, and Sally Clark; her sixteen grandchildren; and her eighteen great-grandchildren.
Marian is preceded in death by her beloved husband John Clark; parents Thomas and Dorothy (nee Galloy) Cannon; and her brother Thomas Cannon.
Marian was born in Chicago on December, 20, 1927. She was a proud graduate of St. Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN class of 1949. President of Cannon Steel Erection, which was founded by her father, Thomas Cannon, in 1942. She will be remembered as an avid golfer, world traveler and animal lover. She was a sweet woman and will be missed by all that knew her.
Services for Marian will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, with a visitation at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 2659 W. Sauk Trail, in Frankfort, IL from 10-11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am. Interment private. In lieu of flowers donations in Marian’s name to Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to Evans Scholars Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Kurtz Memorial Chapel.
