Marie "Mona" L. Sus

Marie "Mona" Sus (nee Sczesny) age 95, a resident of Midlothian formerly of Chicago, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021. Loving wife of the late Edward; beloved mother of the late Sharon (Guido) Colonna and Gerald (Karen) Sus; cherished grandmother of Scott (Jorie) and Sean (Kim Lello) Sus; proud great grandmother of Johnatan Orlich, the late Eddie Orlich, Logan, Lennox and Quinn Sus; dear sister of the late Max (late Helen), late Rudolph, late John (late Sophie); fond aunt of the late Louise Blakeslee, Gloria Nelson, late Rita Kopacz, Bob Kopacz; dear sister-in-law of the late Mae Kopacz and late Irene (Tony) Puzas. She is also survived by great and great great nieces and nephews. She was a member of Senior Polka Association (S.P.A.) , South International Polka Association and Good Counsel Society of St Turibius. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, April 5,2021 from 4PM until 8PM. Funeral service on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow to Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Justice. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
