Age, 86, passed away Thursday, October 31st, 2019 at The Cottages of New Lenox.

Marlyn is survived by her loving family, children, Margarite (Anthony) Weber, Donald Savaria, Lawrence Savaria, Eugene (Jeri) Savaria, Cortny (Chad) Hannon, sister, Olive Ann Kramer, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marlyn was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence & Margaret Tipton (Crow), husband, Newton Savaria, children, Lillette Novotny, Robert Savaria and brother, Clarence Tipton Jr.

Marlyn was a Korean War Veteran who served her country in the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She traveled the world with her husband and family and was know to be an avid fisherwoman. Marlyn greatly enjoyed spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.

A private memorial visitation and service for family and close friends is scheduled at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, November 9th, 2019. Memorial visitation from 11:30 AM until time of memorial service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
